LOCATION
Q:  Where is Lustre located?
A:  Lustre is a rural, farming community located in Northeast Montana, USA.

TRAVEL
Q:  Where is the nearest airport?
A:  The nearest airport is located in Wolf Point (OLF), 38 miles/61 km to the southeast.

Q:  When buying tickets, what airports should I use?
A:  Purchase tickets to fly into Billings Logan International Airport (BIL), a port of entry into Montana.  Then purchase an additional ticket from Billings to Wolf Point, MT (OLF), operated by Cape Air.

Q:  I need to stay overnight in Billings, what hotel do you recommend?
A:  We recommend using the Raddison Hotel.  The Raddison is located near the airport and offers a shuttle service for its customers.

Q:  Once my travel plans are made, where should I send my travel itinerary?
A:  Please email your travel itinerary to the LCHS office or to our international representative.  Sending us your itinerary ensures that someone will meet you at the Wolf 
Point airport for pick-up.

DORM LIFE
Q: What furniture is in a dorm room?
A:  Each dorm room is furnished with a twin-size bed, a dresser, closet space, and desk. 

Q: What should I bring to live at the dorm?
A:  Each boarding student must provide all of his/her personal needs while living at the dorm.  

Be prepared with the following items:
-- bedding for twin/single bed:  sheet set, blankets, pillow
-- bath towel and wash clothes, bath robe, night clothes/pajamas
-- bedroom necessities: closet hangers, bedside alarm clock, wall decorations
-- bathroom effects:  shampoo, deodorant, soap, hair accessories, etc
-- laundry supplies: detergent, fabric softener, stain remover, etc
-- school supplies (see school supply list)
-- spending money: $15-20 per week
-- personal medications: dorm parents will be notified of any medications
-- memorabilia: family pictures, reminders of home
-- alarm clock: must be separate from phone/wi-fi connectable device

Q: May I have a coffee pot in my room?
A:  Personal appliances are not allowed in dorm rooms.  There is a kitchenette for student use that is fully furnished.

A: Yes, there is a dress code for school days and code of conduct for the dorm.   A full profile is listed in the LCHS Student Handbook.
